In the heart of bustling Earls Court, amidst the charming streets and iconic buildings, right above The Smoking Jacket Tobbaco Shop, stood a modest structure with a quiet presence. Originally comprising 13 rooms, its worn exterior hinted at the stories held within its walls. Some rooms boasted en-suite facilities, while others shared communal washing spaces, a testament to its varied history and the lives it had sheltered.
Then came the internal conversion and the remodelling work. Evoke Design & Build, a beacon of innovation in construction, took on the challenge of reimagining this building. With meticulous planning and a vision for modern living, they set out to breathe new life into its tired frame. The result? A remarkable metamorphosis that doubled its capacity to 25 rooms, each now adorned with luxurious en-suite bathrooms and equipped with mini kitchenettes for added convenience.
The journey began with structural work – a delicate dance of digging up and resetting the basement, crafting a new drainage layout, and crowning it all with a sturdy new roof. Inside, the building was reborn with a host of modern amenities. A state-of-the-art heating and hot water system ensured comfort for all, while individual heating controls in each room offered personalised warmth.
